As part of NDC Prijedor project activity “Peace education / Conflict prevention in schools” in elementary schools “Hasan Kikic” and “5.Oktobar”, Sanski Most and “Desanka Maksimovic” from Prijedor in December 2012, 7th and 8th sessions of workshops were implemented. Topics covered in this series of workshops were: co-ordination / co-operation, trauma, loss and grief, non-violent communication, peer mediation, negotiation and solving conflicts. Focus was on peer mediation with the aim of providing schools the support in conflict management and resolution. In second semester of this school year 2012/2013, in above mentioned schools, Peer Mediation Clubs will be established.
